NASA and the Russian Space Agency both make extensive use of "parabolic" flights to train their astronauts to move and work in a zero gravity environment. By flying a large, specially equipped aircraft in a series of parabolas, periods of virtual zero gravity are attained within the aircraft, and passengers can float and glide about the cavernous hold unhindered anafranil. BigSkyAdventures will offer Zero Gravity Missions in South Africa from August 2003. Missions will be undertaken in an Ilyushin76 transporter, the standard aircraft used for this mission by the Russian Space Agency revia. The Ilyushin76's vast 200 cubic meter interior is custom padded and you will be assisted by trained crew members during your one hour flight. |
